Visited Bill Shea's gas station museum when we were in town for the Springfield Mile last September. Its located just around the corner from the State Fairgrounds and is a great place to spend a couple of hours.
Bill has worked at the Gas station all his life, he's now in his nineties and still works everyday along with his son. They pumped gas right up until the late 80's when new government regulations shut them down.Soon after that they opened the premises up as the museum.
That's Bill in the last shot...counting his money.
